For a month now, Jacksonville has been picking up the debris caused by Hurricane Matthew. This debris has included everything from ruined furniture and appliances to water-soaked carpeting and hardwood flooring. It was recently reported that some 800,000 cubic yards of debris has been collected, and they are not done yet. Here is the first part of that story:

One of the dump areas on the Southside is now filled with mounds of trees and other yard waste. Much of it has been mulched, but it's still coming in, and there is going to be a lot more.”
