SOLID WOOD FLOORS

Solid wood floors are usually one piece of wood that is ¾” thick.  These floors are usually installed over wood floors to prevent moisture from being absorbed by them.  They are used for second floor installation, where moisture from the slab will not be an issue.  The criteria for selecting a solid wood floor would be same as above
